ZIRC ist die Windows-Software zur Unterstützung der ZIMO Produkte. Es hat (2008/ 2009) das "ZIMO Service Tool" ZST abgelöst, und in Teilfunktionen auch das "ZIMO Sound Programm" ZSP. Die aktuellen Aufgaben (weitere werden hinzukommen) sind

für "Geräte & Module": Durchführung des Software-Update, Laden von Sprachen,

für Decoder: Durchführung des Software-Update, Laden der "Ready-to-use" Sound-Projekte aus der ZIMO Sound Database,

ZIRC is the Windows-based software to support and maintain ZIMO Products. It has (in 2008/ 2009) replaced the "ZIMO Service Tool" ZST, and some of the functionality of the "ZIMO Sound Program" ZSP. The current tasks which are supported are:

- for "Devices & Modules" - Implentation the Software-Update, loading of  new language files,

- for Decoders - implementation of the Software-Update, loading of "Ready-to-use" Sound-Projects from the ZIMO Sound Database,

ZSP dient vornehmlich zum Bearbeiten und Erstellen von ZIMO Sound-Projekten und zum Laden dieser Projekte in den Decoder.

Alternativ zu ZIRC kann es auch für die Durchführung von Software-Updates verwendet werden.

ZSP is the software for generating of sound projects.
As an alternative tio ZIRC it is also used for the decoder software update.
